The archaeological sites of&nbsp;<strong>Numancia<\/strong>&nbsp;(Soria) and&nbsp;<strong>The Five Pipes<\/strong>&nbsp;(Coca, Segovia) will be the protagonists of this edition of the Castilian-Leonese tour, whose motto is &#039;A Tour of Our Ancient History&#039;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first day will begin in&nbsp;<strong>Garray<\/strong>, opposite the Numancia archaeological sites, and will have a route of&nbsp;<strong>168.9 kilometers<\/strong>&nbsp;which will make a foray of just over 25 kilometers through Riojan lands.&nbsp;<strong>The Port of Piqueras and the Port of Santa In\u00e9s<\/strong>&nbsp;will be the main mountain challenges of this opening day. The intermediate sprints of La Poveda de Soria and El Rollo will be other highlights of this first stage where&nbsp;<strong>arrival in Soria<\/strong>&nbsp;the first leader of the race will be known.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second and final stage will have a route of&nbsp;<strong>186.2 kilometers<\/strong>, running for just over 36 kilometers through the Community of Madrid. The start will be at the archaeological site of Los Cinco Ca\u00f1os de la&nbsp;<strong>Segovian town of<\/strong>&nbsp;Coca and the goal will be located&nbsp;<strong>in Segovia<\/strong>The mountain heights of&nbsp;<strong>Navacerrada and Navafr\u00eda<\/strong>&nbsp;will be the highlights of the day.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A route that offers all the necessary ingredients to guarantee the excitement and success of this edition of the Vuelta a Castilla y Le\u00f3n, a competition that has left its mark on the history of cycling with illustrious names on its list of winners such as&nbsp;<strong>Miguel Indurain, Alberto Contador, Alejandro Valverde<\/strong>&nbsp;or the brand new latest winner,&nbsp;<strong>Simon Yates<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Vuelta a Castilla y Le\u00f3n will have the participation of&nbsp;<strong>six UCI World Teams<\/strong>, 10 UCI Pro Teams and three UCI Continental teams. A total of&nbsp;<strong>19 squads of 12 nationalities<\/strong>Different teams will complete a luxury roster for this year&#039;s Castilian-Leonese tour. Six teams will be Spanish, while the remaining teams will be composed of two teams from the US, two from France, and one each from the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, Australia, Portugal, the Philippines, Belgium, Switzerland, Israel, and Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The presence of the UCI World Team stands out:&nbsp;<strong>UAE Team Emirates, Astana Qazaqstan, Movistar Team, EF Education-Easypost, Jayco Alula and Arkea-<\/strong>Samsic, top-flight teams.
