Summer brings high-altitude cycling to Castilla y León, and thanks to the boost of the Cadalsa Cycling Club and the support of the Regional Government of Castile and LeónThe province's roads will witness a top-level cycling spectacle. The 39th edition of the Castilla y León International Cycling Classic will be held on July 27th, covering a demanding 201 km route that will start in Laguna de Duero and challenge the peloton with iconic hills and climbs before being decided in an explosive finish at Peñafiel Castle.

On Sunday, July 27, top professionals, including some of the biggest names in the World Tour, will battle it out in one of the most established classics on the calendar, with live television coverage and the institutional support of the Regional Government to boost sports tourism in the region.
