Enrique Sanz won the third and final stage of the Vuelta a Castilla y León, finishing in Villafranca del Bierzo. Davide Cimolai is the overall winner. Davide Cimolai takes the overall title.

Another breakaway, and another small group of riders arriving at the final finish line of the race in Villafranca del Bierzo. Movistar Team led the pack, chasing the six breakaway riders, including Ángel Madrazo (Burgos-BH), Sergio Rodríguez (Euskadi-Murias), and Jokin Aranburu (Fundación Euskadi).

But the adventurers were mercilessly swept aside with 40 kilometers remaining by a peloton that was increasingly breaking up. The Telefónica riders, always tightly packed, took advantage of the sprint finish with Bennati, which also further delayed the formation of the breakaway.

In the final eight kilometers, Marcos Jurado and Antonio Angulo (Efapel) tried to surprise from a distance. Five other riders then joined them, creating a small gap on the main group, but were caught in the final 2,000 meters. In the sprint, Sanz was the fastest.
