Eduardo Sepúlveda won the Vuelta a Castilla y León after winning the final stage, a 186.2-kilometer race between Coca and Segovia. The Argentine made his debut with Lotto Dstny and celebrated again after more than a year of drought, having not raised his arms since April 2022.
Sepúlveda defeated Pablo Castrillo in a head-to-head finish, while Felix Engelhardt completed the podium 26 seconds behind.
“I can hardly believe it. It was very tough, and I was a bit lucky because I jumped at just the right moment, and Castrillo was a great breakaway partner,” said the Chubut native. “Although we worked well together, I thought the peloton would catch us. It didn't happen. They caught up with us, and I was able to win the stage and the overall. It was fantastic,” the Argentinian concluded.
