Movistar Team completes its newsletter with such prominent names as José Joaquín Rojas, Iván García Cortina, Vinicius Rangel, Lluís Más, Abner González and Gonzalo Serrano
Iván Romeo, the young gem of Castilian-Leonese cycling and one of the Spanish cyclists with the greatest international projection and future, will be present at the 37th edition of the Vuelta Ciclista Internacional a Castilla y León. This was confirmed by his team, the Movistar Team, in the latest bulletin sent to the organizers of the Castilian-Leonese race, which will take place on July 26 and 27.
The Valladolid-born cyclist, who made the leap to the World Tour with the Movistar Team this season at just 19 years old, is one of the great hopes of Spanish cycling. He is a very complete cyclist, but above all, an excellent all-rounder trained in the academy of the Arroyo de la Encomienda Cycling Club. After his cadet phase with NorInver, he made the jump to the Asturian MMR Cycling Academy, where he confirmed his extraordinary quality by winning two national Junior road and time trials titles in 2021. These titles helped him make the jump to the American Hagens Berman Axeon team, led by Axel Merckx, in 2022. This season, now with the Movistar Team, Romeo has demonstrated his outstanding quality, especially in the Omloop Het Niewsblad, as well as in races such as Milan-Turin and the Clásica de Almería.
The Movistar Team has completed its registration form with such notable names as José Joaquín Rojas, Iván García Cortina, Vinicius Rangel, Lluís Más, Abner González, and Gonzalo Serrano.
