The Classical Castile and León will celebrate its 39th edition from Laguna de Duero to Peñafiel under the organization of the Cadalsa Cycling ClubThe traditional race will host the best teams in professional cycling on July 27th and You will experience an electrifying day on a 201-kilometer route A demanding and highly attractive route to witness a truly spectacular spectacle. The peloton will travel through several provinces of Castile and León, passing by the region's scenic beauty and main tourist attractions.
Laguna de Duero will be the starting point. The town of Valladolid will host the teams' training camp and the start of the Castilla y León Classic in the scenic surroundings of its lake, a sporting area par excellence. It will host the start of the most important regional event, with the participation of elite international teams. After starting the race in Boecillo (km:0), the peloton will head towards the first key point of the day in the early stages of the race. La Parrilla (1.7 km at 6.6%), third category. In just 16 kilometers, the runners will face the first steep climb. Once over this, they will head towards the second peak near from kilometer 53, La Planta (1.8 km at 4.9%), third category, although Montemayor and Aldealbar will be transferred first.
The next few kilometres will be based on flat terrain without difficulties, passing through Valbuena, Pesquera or Rábano, in addition to making a pass close to the finish line through Peñafiel, which is where the first intermediate sprint of the race will be located at kilometer 86. After 100 kilometers, the peloton will return to a more challenging section with several steep climbs. They will begin the climb from Sacramenia and summit the final climb of the day, Fuentidueña (1.6 km at 6.4%), category three.
After the descent, they will visit Olombrada and then continue the route to the second Intermediate sprint located in Cuéllar at kilometer 143. And in the last 50 kilometers, they will link a series of slopes and winding roads crossing Vallelado, Viloria, Aldealbar (second pass) and Langayo to finish the race with a explosive finale at the legendary and iconic Peñafiel Castle, who will witness the outcome of the 2025 Castilla y León Classic packed with fans gathered at the fences of the ramps surrounding the monument.
