The cyclist from the capital, from the Lotto Dstny team, took the victory in the second stage, with a time of 4:25:41, and took the title with a 14-second advantage over the German Félix Engelhardt.

Eduardo Sepúlveda was crowned the winner of the 37th edition of the Vuelta a Castilla y León, after taking victory in the second and final 186.2-kilometer stage between the Spanish towns of Coca and Segovia.

The cyclist from the capital, from the Lotto Dstny team, took the victory with a time of 4:25:41 and was 26 seconds ahead of the leader of the competition, the German Félix Engelhardt (Jayco-AlUla), whom he surpassed by 14 seconds in the general classification.

Balito broke away from the pack alongside Spaniard Pablo Castrillo 10 kilometers from the finish and won the final sprint, taking both the stage and the race.

"Running and winning this race is something I can't believe. The last 30 kilometers were full of attacks, I think I had a bit of luck and found the right moment," said the Rawson native after the victory.

In the general classification, Sepúlveda finished with a time of 8:26:48, followed by Engelhardt (+0:14) and Alex Molenaar (+0:24).
